For newcomers – Greetings friends and neighbors! Our concerts take place either in the barn or on the front lawn stage weather permitting. If temperatures are cold or too hot we host them at the local community center in Monroe, “Heritage Hall” or in our own living room.

Here is where you will find info about our upcoming Heritage Hall concerts, barn or lawn concerts. We are located in the town of Monroe/Alpine which is about halfway between Eugene and Corvallis.. We ask each attendee to donate $20 or $25. which all goes to the outstanding world-class touring performers that we present.Heritage Hall in Monroe is a recently renovated community space that used to be the Methodist Church at 648 Orchard St.. It is run by the South Benton Food Pantry and we are lucky we can use it for concerts in the colder months. It seats 80 like the barn.
Lawn concerts at our home in the warmer months.

Concerts inside our living room are intimate and all acoustic. Only 40 seats.
If you’d like early notification about each concert we host just send me an email requesting to be on the concert email list. Often the concerts are sold out quickly so it’s best to reserve early.

These concerts are hosted by myself (Lisa Lynne) and my husband Aryeh Frankfurter at our home in Alpine, Oregon. We are also touring artists/musicians so we strive to make it an optimal experience for both artists and attendees. Past concerts in 2024
Wednesday, July 31, 2024 – Our annual 70’s sing-along. 6pm to 9pm
This is one of our favorite events. Everyone gets a songbook with lyrics and gets to shout out which songs they want the musicians to play and we all sing together. It’s so much fun every year. The donation is only $5. to join for this musical picnic. There are fine musicians to accompany your favorite songs. If you are a musician you can bring along your carefully tuned instrument as well, the chords are on the songsheets too. You can come and go anytime you like during the three-hour event. Please let me know if you plan to come as I try to get a rough idea of how many folks to expect. This is more freestyle than the regular concerts where we keep careful track of seats.

We hosted a concert here in our early days and saw Keith play guitar with famous harpist Maeve Gilchrist. Keith is touring from the east coast and Aryeh was thrilled to offer him a concert here as we are big fans. His guitar work is outstanding and his voice is like pure honey. He plays traditional music that warms the heart. More below

A native of Newfoundland, Keith’s traditional song repertoire is based in Eastern Canada and Quebec as well as his current home, Vermont. His direct and intimate style of traditional singing in English and French infuses old ballads and songs with a powerful immediacy while his rhythmic and percussive finger style of guitar playing brings new shape and color to his songs.
Keith is an accomplished composer and arranger in the realm of traditional music and has also composed for theater and film. He is a featured performer on well over a dozen recordings and a guest musician on numerous others. Several of his compositions have been featured on the recent Ken Burns’ documentary on the Roosevelts. Video here

Friday, October 18 – True Life Trio’s This music is all about harmony. The fiery voices of these three women spin and interweave, traveling from Ukrainian village tunes, to Greek polyphony to Louisiana two-steps. Bulgaria to the Bayou.

Like the rugged mountains, tangled love and legends about which they sing, TLT shows are full of stories and passion. Interspersed with gorgeous vocal performances are tales of their travels and song collecting that bring immediacy to each tune and envelop their audiences in a knowing, warm embrace. You don’t have to speak all of the myriad languages in which TLT sings to be transported to other worlds with them–they bring you right along.
