It tells the story of Richard Proenneke (also subject of the book ‘One Man’s Wilderness: an Alaskan Odyssey’), who built his own cabin in the wilderness near Twin Lakes, in what is now Lake Clark National Park & Preserve in Alaska. Follow this simple account of his day-to-day explorations and activities, carried out alone, and beautifully captured on film, as well as the constant chain of nature’s events that kept him company. Because of the popularity of Volume 1, a second volume was made with remaining footage outtakes, also using music from Love & Peace.
